Sen. Casey Votes Against Clean Air Act and American Lives

Written by Myriam Fallon. Cross posted from the Greenpeace Campaign Blog.

Yesterday afternoon I gathered with 20 other concerned citizens outside Senator Casey’s Philadelphia office to ask the Senator to stand up and protect our health, air and environment.

A few short hours after we gathered outside, the Senate began voting on several amendments that all aimed to limit the EPA’s ability to regulate pollution from big industries by dismantling the Clean Air Act.

FINAL Registration Deadline is Friday!

There are just 9 days left until Power Shift. 9 days!

What does that mean for you?

Well, if you've already registered, you're probably figuring out what to pack, how you're going to get here, and where you're going to stay in DC. If you haven't registered for Power Shift yet, there are just two days left to do so!

Friday is the absolute last possible day to register for Power Shift 2011. After Friday, no registrations (zero, zip, nada!) will be processed, so be sure sign up now if you haven't already.
