As you may know, today is the one-year anniversary of the BP Gulf Disaster on the Deepwater Horizon. Over the past year, we've watched the effects of the spill ravage the Gulf destroying entire ecosystems, making people ill, and ruin livelihoods of fishermen.

People across the country are taking action against BP. Here's a quick roundup of just some of what's going on:

This morning, 5,000 young leaders gathered at the White House, and rallied across Washington, DC. We kicked off the next wave of grassroots action, and showed the strengh of our movement.

Day 2 Roundup!

Yesterday, attendees broke out into group organizing trainings held by the New Organizing Institute for the first time and learned how to take action and effectively organize within their communities. During the day, we had workshops and panels to talk about important issues facing us and our environment as we push this movement ahead.
