SHOW OUR PEOPLE POWER: PLEDGE TO STAND UP TO BIG POLLUTERS & STOP KEYSTONE XL
The fight for clean energy is a fight between special interests and people power.
The Obama Administration's decision to delay Keystone XL deals a critical blow to the project -- and just as importantly, shows that people power is coming out on top. In the coming months we will continue to organize around tar sands and other pending decisions, and now less than a year out from Election Day 2012 we have to show President Obama that young people are ready to get to work for a clean energy economy.
Between now and November 2012, we’re going to spend hundreds of thousands of hours standing up to Big Polluters. Let’s show our people power by adding up those hours right now.
Whether it’s working on local campaigns, knocking on doors, or rallying against Keystone XL — together we can show that the wave of people power standing up to Big Polluters is only growing, and that we won't quit until we’ve stopped Keystone XL and brought in a 100% clean energy economy.
People Power Pledge
I pledge to stand up to big polluters, protect our democracy from polluting corporate interests, and work to create a clean energy economy.
