TOMORROW! Testify at the EPA

Remember a couple of months ago, when the EPA announced new carbon regulations? Remember how excited we were, because these regulations effectively outlaw new coal plants?

To recap David's post:

  • The proposed regulations will only affect new plants, BUT
  • the EPA may be legally obligated to regulate existing coal plants soon.
  • Most importantly, the regulations will effectively outlaw new coal plants.

Now is your opportunity to speak up and show your support. If you live in D.C. or Chicago, stop by one of the hearings to join in rallies and more throughout the day. The public comment period has also been extended to June 25.

The hearings and the public comments are important because it's our opportunity to show how much support there is beyond the EPA's proposed regulations. We can be sure that polluters are lobbying hard behind the scenes.
