Rallying for a Coal Free Campus in Cincinnati
Last week fifty University of Cincinnati students weren't stopped by nasty cold and rain to rally for a coal free campus.
We filled 400 white balloons full of 100% clean air. A coordinated flash mob made a giant wind turbine with the balloons right in front of the office of the president. This picture was taken from his office balcony.
"Coal Free! UC!" we chanted as loud as we could. President Williams can't deny anymore that his students want clean energy and clean air- definitely not coal pollution.
After the photo, we delivered the balloons full of clean air to everyone we could find. The administration isn't giving students clean air, so we took it upon ourselves.
I want to see kids like this one have a chance to have clean air and live asthma free. Don't you?
