Not So Fast, Natural Gas: MI Students Protest Fracking Conference

To all you gassholes plotting to frack up Michigan, know that you're going to be met with resistance.

On February 16, the Michigan Oil and Gas Association (MOGA) held a private conference in Mount Pleasant, MI on hydraulic fracturing, seeking to create a plan for fracking expansion in Michigan.

They were met with unexpected dissent by Michigan students and fracktivists who gave them an uncomfortably warm welcome and sent them off with a passionate goodbye.

A few protestors were able to sneak a peak into the conference, where conniving industry executives were overheard calling the protestors "not real people" saying, "Those anti-fracking people are convincing, so we (as an industry) need to counter that."  Deception, caught in the act!

While this action was symbolic, the industry should take note that beneath what they may believe to be a bunch of crazy activists is actually the people's voice that will only grow louder as they aggress.
