Learn, Laugh & Organize with REC This Summer

Want to learn organizing strategies to challenge corporate power on your campus? Stay up late talking about revolutionary possibilities with student activists from all over the country? Learn about your endowment in order to shift the power at your school?

Then the Responsible Endowments Coalition Summer Organizing Retreat is for you!

REC's training will give you all the tools you need to shift your university's millions, even billions, away from the status quo of funding dirty energy and toward socially responsible investment and the clean energy economy. The movement needs you and REC will make sure you're ready.

Whether you are an experienced organizer or are just joining the movement, you will learn valuable skills at the retreat and take them back to your campus to create change from the bottom up. This is a perfect opportunity for students currently campaigning for coal divestment or for students who would like to start a divest coal campaign on their campus.

University endowments collectively control $400 billion dollars – think about the revolutionary possibilities of using that money to finance the world we want to see!

Study our movement's successes to integrate effective strategies and tactics into your campaigns. Learn about finance so you can “talk the talk” with administrators. You have two options to attend:

Northeast Summer Organizing Retreat, Lakona Harbor, NJ, July 29-August 4

Midwest Summer Organizing Retreat, Racine, WI, August 18-24

The change starts with you. It starts with your campus. Gain the skills you need to become a movement leader at REC's Summer Organizing Retreat! Learn more about the retreats and apply here: http://www.endowmentethics.org/summer-organizing-retreat
