Fossil fuel interests (Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS, the Koch brothers and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) are planning to spend a whopping $1 billion to swing the 2012 elections. Now is more important than ever to show that ordinary people support clean energy standards like the one in Michigan. On the ballot this fall, there's a chance to increase Michigan's clean energy standard to 25% clean energy by 2025.
The Detroit Free Press has created a poll asking if the Michigan Constitution should be amended to increase the state’s use of renewable energy. This poll is put out at a time when enemies of safe renewable energy sources are trying to dismantle renewable energy standards within states across the U.S. By going to this link and voting yes on the poll on the right side of the page, an individual can help show that support for clean energy is strong across the U.S. and specifically in Michigan.
