Florida leaders are taking a stand for a clean energy future by engaging thousands of young people in the upcoming election. As young voters, we have an opportunity and an obligation to go out and vote this November with clean energy and climate change as a top priority.
Alexandra Colby, President of Students for Environmental Action at Florida International University, has been tirelessly working to get hundreds of young voters registered this summer. "I'm registering people to vote because the youth must speak on today's issues and tomorrow's solutions," said Alex. "Our generation knows that climate change is the biggest challenge we face, and we are going to go to the polls in record numbers again this year to make sure Washington tackles these issues."
This year, let's make sure we take a stand for our future. Do your part by making sure you get registered to vote before this November, and get your friends registered too! Our vote is our voice!
